Our refund and return policy is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. Unfortunately, if more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.
To process your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Return Conditions

- Customers can return products within 30 days of purchase.
- Product Condition:
- Herbs must be returned in their original packaging.
- Opened or used products are eligible for return in cases of quality issues.
- Defective or Damaged Products:
- If a product is compromised or damaged upon arrival, customers should report this within 48 hours of receipt.
- Customers are to email pepe@mamaafricaoriginalroots.com to submit photos or evidence of the compromise or damage.
- Return Process:
- Customers must contact the email mentioned above to initiate a return.
- Refunds:
- Refunds will be processed once the returned product is received and inspected.
- Customers can expect their refunds within 7-10 business days after the product is received.
- Shipping Costs:
- Typically, the customer pays for return shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part e.g., the wrong item shipped or compromised product.
- Non-returnable Items:
- Non-returnable items include opened herbs that are mostly used.
- Proof of Purchase:
- Customers must provide proof of purchase (e.g., order number, receipt) to process a return.
- International Returns:
- The return period for international orders is up to 30 days.
- Exchanges:
- Exchanges are offered instead of a refund in case of compromised products.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original payment method within 7-10 days.
Late or Missing Refunds: If you have not received your refund:
- Check your bank account or PayPal again.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are compromised. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please email us at pepe@mamaafricaoriginalroots.com.
Shipping Returns
For product returns you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on your location, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
For returning items, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
